Name and Nature

AmrasTelufinwë in Quenya, the “little Finwë,” the young twin of Amrod, the youngest of the seven sons of Fëanor and Nerdanel. Life and Fates

Significance

Amras completes the portrait of the Fëanorians’ youth: the last sparks of the house, who carried the Oath with the least comprehension and the fullest loyalty, and whose dying ends the “seven sons” of the Quenta in the ruin their fathers began.
