Calaquendi (and Moriquendi)
the Elves of the Light and of the Darkness
Definition
The Calaquendi are the Elves of the Light (those who saw the Two Trees in Aman, and their kin), the Moriquendi the Elves of the Darkness (those who never did): the great division among the Eldar (and the Avari) with vast emotional and political consequences across the ages.
