Gelmir
Gelmir was a lord of Nargothrond, the friend of Gwindor; in one tradition he rode with Gwindor at the Nirnaeth, was taken captive and tortured in Angband (his screams — or his death — in some accounts goading the terrible charge of the Noldor). His name is joined to Gwindor’s as the pair of the broken lords.
