the twin brother of Haleth; the son of Haldad of the Haladin
Name and Story
Haldar was the son of Haldad and the twin brother of Haleth, a chieftain of the Haladin in the defence of his people’s stockade. When the Orcs came down upon the woods and laid siege to the palisade, Haldar fell with his father in the terrible onset, and the defence was taken up thereafter by his sister Haleth the hunter.
