Names and History
Narya, the Ring of Fire (set with a red stone), is one of the Three Elven-rings, made by Celebrimbor without Sauron’s taint — for the kindling of hearts and the defence against weariness. It was entrusted to Círdan of the Havens, who in the later age gave it to Gandalf.
