Valarin
the tongue of the Valar
Definition
Valarin is the speech of the Valar and the oldest language of the mythology’s cosmos — the tongue of the Powers, of which the Eldar retained only a few names (Manwë, Ulmo’s forms and titles). It is the deep root of the linguistic strata in Tolkien’s legendarium.
