The greatest of the Three Houses, led by Hador Lórindol into Dor-lómin as the shield of the Noldor’s north: golden-haired, brave, loyal — the house of Galdor, Húrin, Huor, and (through them) the line of Tuor and Eärendil, and the tragedy of the Children of Húrin.
