The Line of Thingol
the royal house of the Sindar, from Elwë Singollo to the Half-elven
The royal house of the Sindar: Elwë Singollo, called Thingol, awoke among the first Elves and became King of Doriath through his marriage with the Maia Melian. His line ran through Lúthien and Dior into the Half-elven — and with the loss of Elwing’s sons it ended among the Elves. In the diagrams, ✕ joins a married couple; arrows show descent.
