The Timeless Halls
the dwelling of Eru beyond the world
Definition
The Timeless Halls are the abode of Eru Ilúvatar (and of the Ainur who never entered the world) ‘outside Time’: the place beside the Void from which the Great Music was sung and into which Ilúvatar can recall all beings at the end. They are the mythological ‘heaven beyond the world’.
