Simbelmynë (evermind) was the white flower that grew in the grass of the mounds of Rohan — the ever-mind that bloomed upon the graves of the dead kings and riders of the Mark; it was the flower of the memory of the North.
In the Tale
On the mound where Théoden was laid, the evermind grew thick, and its white heads swayed in the wind of the wold; the name means ‘ever-mind’ in the old speech, and it is the emblem of the long remembrance of the Horse-lords.
