The Age
The Fourth Age began when the Ring was unmade and the Three passed over the Sea; the King Elessar (Aragorn) ruled the reunited kingdoms, Legolas and Gimli wandered the woods and the Glittering Caves, and the Elves went to the Grey Havens in fading hosts. The lore of the elder days became the long echo of memory, and Men ruled Middle-earth.
