The Dead Marshes
the fenland of the candles
Name and Position
The dangerous marshland between the Emyn Muil and the passes of Mordor
History
The sunken fen of the corpses of an ancient battle, whose dead-showing lights beckoned the unwary; by the power of the Shadow they glimmered, and only the madness of Gollum found the way.
