The River
The Silverlode (Celebrant) was the great stream that poured from the Dimrill Dale of Moria and ran through the heart of the Golden Wood, bright by day and silver beneath the moon, watering the groves of the mallorn.
Its Meeting
Its confluence with the Anduin below Lórien marked the southern boundary of the realm; the Field of Celebrant, where Eorl saved Gondor, took its name from the river, and its fords were the roads of the Elves and their friends.
