Imrahil
the Prince of Dol Amroth; the Swan-knight; uncle of Boromir and Faramir
Name and Story
Imrahil was the Prince of Dol Amroth, a lord of proud Númenórean blood whose sister Finduilas was the wife of Denethor II — so he was uncle to Boromir and Faramir. He led the swan-knights of his coast-realm to the defence of Minas Tirith.
Deeds
At the Pelennor he recognized Faramir’s shield among the fallen, sheltered the wounded, and stood with Aragorn in the last battles; after the War he was the great lord of the South, and his house remained among the noblest of the reunited kingdom.
