The Draught
The Ent Draught was the nourishing drink of the Ents, drawn from the springs and the deep roots of the forest, that grew and renewed those who drank it; the Ents drank it sparingly, for its virtue was great.
In the Tale
When Merry and Pippin drank the draught of the Ents, they grew tall beyond their kind - the sign of the old strength of the tree-shepherds - and the grown hobbits remembered the gift all their lives.
