The Ride of the Rohirrim
the great march of the Riders from Dunharrow to the aid of Gondor
The Muster
The Ride of the Rohirrim was the great coming of the Riders of the Mark to the aid of Gondor: at the muster of Edoras and the gathering of the host beneath the mountains, the horsemen of Rohan rode by the secret ways of the pass of Dunharrow, silent and gathering, to fall upon the besiegers of the City.
The Charge
The great charge of the Riders upon the Pelennor Fields broke the siege of Gondor in the morning of the third day, and the horn of the Riders was heard by the City as the sun rose red over the battle; Théoden fell in the hour of the triumph, and the Ride passed into the songs of the North.
