Halbarad
the kinsman and standard-bearer of Aragorn
Name and Story
Halbarad was a Ranger of the North and the kinsman of Aragorn, who came north with a few of the Dúnedain in the hour of war — bearing the token of the King, and marching in the Grey Company under the sword that was forged anew.
His Fall
He went with Aragorn by the Paths of the Dead and the ships to the Pelennor, and fell in the great battle while the banner of the White Tree was yet unknown; he was one of the chosen of the North, and his death is counted among the losses of the war.
