Gimli
Gimli son of Glóin; the Dwarf of the Fellowship
Gimli, son of Glóin, was the Dwarf of the Fellowship of the Ring, one of the company of the Quest from Erebor. Fierce and loyal, he honoured the friendship of the Elves beyond the old feuds, was lord of the Glittering Caves after the war, and (in the tradition) passed at last with Legolas into the West.
