Lobelia Sackville-Baggins was the grasping wife of Otho Sackville-Baggins, the cousin of the Baggins line whose one desire was the hole of Bag End and its silver spoons; her schemes and her sharpness were the comedy of the Shire’s household life.
Her Part
She was checked at last in the dark years of the Ruffians, who cowed and robbed her at the time of the Scouring; and the tale ends with a small justice - when she at last sold the spoons back, her name was remembered as an example of true Shire character.
